Looking for Sr. Android Developers to join the Huawei Turkey Ramp;D Center and work in the extensive and challenging Petal Maps Project.Sr. Android Developer will be the pioneer of improving and extending features of Petal Maps through utilization of comprehensive mobile application development skills.

Petal Maps is one of the trending project of Huawei which has more than 1 billion downloads over Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, Apple Market and releases extended Map features to enhance user experiences during navigation and map application usage. We will be quite glad to work with you in Petal Maps project.

Key Responsbilities

• Simply, take the tech lead role of the projects (mostly open source) related with Ads or other verticals that we are developing for HMS.
• Involve in not only development of a part but also technical design process of requirements.
• Be able to contribute and prepare to product backlog with technical items.
• Pursue writing clear, testable, maintainable and properly documented code.
• Design the technical architecture of the application when it is necessary.
• Provide architectural and technical leadership/guidance on integrated mobile applications of various partners to HMS ecosystem.
• Achieve AS-IS vs. TO-BE analysis on targeted mobile applications and services, outline the solution blueprints.
• Analyze the market trends to propose new and competitive features/services for HMS ecosystem.
• Analyze the customer needs to propose new and valuable features/services for the HMS for Unity solution.
• Actively contribute on team’s knowledge and skill set through knowledge sharing sessions, tech-talks or documents, be a part of the community.
• Managing the repo including PRs, code reviews and merge into main branch.
• Resolving, addressing, supporting issues on team’s repo.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree, majoring in computer software or similar fields.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or design.
• 3+ years in-depth experience with Android mobile application software development.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong grasp of English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent grasp of Android and Mobile Services Ecosystem.
• Experience in MVVM, Kotlin Coroutines, Retrofit, Room, Dagger, RESTful web-services.
• Knowledge of Huawei Mobile Services or similar services.
• Having worked with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands on experience developing production-ready Android apps from scratch.
• Having skills and knowledge on Cross Platform development (React Native, Xamarin, Flutter, etc...).
