Job Description
Huawei Ramp;D Turkey focuses on developing advanced technologies and solutions for global customers in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 5G, and emerging technologies. The team consists of skilled engineers and researchers who collaborate with Huawei's global Ramp;D teams to create innovative solutions.
As Huawei Turkey Ramp;D Center, we are now looking for Junior AI Research Engineers to work with us on computer vision related projects.
Key areas of responsibility will be:
1. Literature survey and feasibility analysis,
2. Pros / Cons analysis among various SOTA solutions in the literature,
3. Proof-of-concept development and performance test of the AI model,
4. Consult with the other teams to determine the requirements and formalize the possible ML research directions,
5. Deploy ML services to production at scale considering resource constraints,
6. Provides academic outputs in the form of papers, patents, and technical talks.
Requirements:
A. Basic computer science and programming languages
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture,
• Having expertise in object-oriented programming,
• Ability to write reusable and easily-maintainable code using beautiful and proper design patterns,
• Ability to write robust and optimized code in Python,
• Familiar with CI/CD processes.
B. Machine Learning
• Solid understanding of Neural Networks in theory,
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras),
• Practical experience in deploying and optimizing ML models in production.
• Experience in one Computer Vision tasks such as optical character recognition, object classification, object detection, pose estimation etc.
C. Working efficiency
• Fully-easy working capability in version control systems such as Gitlab or Github,
• Experience in Docker for building a simulation of the production environment,
• Solid understanding of JSON file, schema.
D. Essential non-technical requirements
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
