The position in a nutshell:We are currently seeking a highly skilled Development Leadto join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of our esteemed organization, working with one of our prestigious clients, a leading bank in the EMEA region.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in innovative technologies, be involved in a thrilling project, and play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of a renowned bank.Responsibilities- Lead engineering teamsin design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applicationsto ensure a smooth and steady implementation
- Work closely with scrum master and product owners in an agile manner on backlog management, prioritization and high-level sizing.
- Provide feedback on UI/UX Design teams’ outputs to ensure that the design is appropriate fora feasible technical architecture in terms of performance and implementation efficiency.
- Prepare technical design and solution documentation according to the functional analysis in collaboration with business analysts.
- Conduct code reviews for the development teams
- Implement well architected and high performantbackend applications/services using best practices.
- Communicate with all stakeholders, supporting transparency and a free flow of information
Qualifications- BSc/MSc/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- Minimum 8+ years of application development experience with Java, Quarkus/Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven
- Proven hands-on experience with microservices architecture
- Having knowledge and experience to manage the project in terms of team management and architecture.
- Mastery in architecting, designing, and implementing large scale, high traffic backend services for external customer-facing web applications
- Expertise in software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile development, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and maintenance.
- Can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems
