Job Description

Our client is a global airline and aviation company.

We are looking for an experienced Apron Services Manager for their growing team.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Planning the resource of the apron services, preparing the budget, creating the approved resource, and making it ready for operation
  • Managing the activities of apron services in line with the budget and the work programs prepared
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the apron services offered within the company in terms of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Participating in the recruitment process for the planned operational staff of apron services, ensuring that the staff is formed and training is provided to make them ready for operation
  • Ensuring the monthly and weekly flight schedules are entered into the system, informing the relevant departments at the station, and distributing the program to other relevant organizations
  • Approves the weekly work schedule of the station cargo department, ensure that cargo operations conducted at the station comply with the standards, relevant legislation, and regulations, provide necessary guidance to cargo employees, forward unresolved issues to the Station Manager for resolution
  • Takes measures to ensure the creation of all necessary information and its complete entry into the system to ensure accurate invoicing of services provided at the station, and approves the entry of information into the system
  • Monitors customer satisfaction regarding Apron Services, and supports the Station Manager in managing customer relationships
  • Identifies the needs of the Apron Services department, and evaluates and approves the needs communicated to them
  • Facilitates the preparation of accident reports occurring on the apron and forwards them to the relevant units for necessary actions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Similar experience in Aviation or in a related field
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs is required
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of cargo operations, health and safety standards, and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Customer-oriented mindset is required
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities are required
  • Familiarity with accident reporting procedures is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to approve and manage the weekly work schedule of the station cargo department
  • Effective communication skills to provide guidance and direction to the cargo team and collaborate with the Station Manager in resolving issues
