General Overview
A Presales Solutions Engineer Data amp; Analytics plays a crucial role in driving the technical aspects of our Data amp; Analytics solutions within the presales process . Primary responsibility is Presales Solutions Engineer - Data amp; Analytics is to work closely with clients to understand their requirements and then recommend the most appropriate Data amp; Analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential and existing clients to gather information about their requirements, business goals, and challenges
- Provide detailed demonstrations of Oredata Data amp; Analytics solutions to potential clients
- Design and architect Data amp; Analytics solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices
- Assist local account teams with deep technical knowledge of running ETL, Analytical, Streaming on Public Cloud infrastructure
- Advise customers on the optimal way for running various Big Data workloads in the Public Cloud considering factors like performance amp; cost effectiveness
- Lead technical responses for RFPs focusing on Data amp; Analytics, ensuring alignment with the client's specifications and Oredata's value propositions
- Develop and supervise the execution of proof-of-concepts for Dataamp;Analytics projects, highlighting the strengths of our solutions
- Manage and prioritize a pipeline of pre-sales engagements
- Foster strong relationships with both the sales and technical teams to create a cohesive approach throughout the sales cycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Data amp; Analytics
- Demonstrable experience in a presales role, specifically in the domain of Data amp; Analytics
- Relevant experience on Data Transformations, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling
- Advanced SQL Knowledge
- Proficiency of designingamp;architecting data solutions on Public Cloud, leveraging technologies similar to Dataproc, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, Elastic on Public Cloud( AWS,Azure amp; GCP)
- Profound technical understanding of GCP and Cloudera’s Data amp; Analytics offerings
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and Turkish is an added advantage
- Adept at critical thinking and problem-solving
