ABOUT THE TEAMThe Finance Team is Trendyol's control center. The team acts as a bridge between commercial teams and customers in order to provide financial sustainability and efficiency for the company.
We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.Your Main Responsibilities
  • Process accounting transactions accurately, timely in accordance with Turkish Gaap (mainly opex invoices),
  • Execute e-invoice and e-ledger processes will be actively involved for monthly closing processes with tight deadline,
  • Prepare the documentation of accounting files,
  • Will be involved approval and accounting processes of opex invoices,
  • Preparation of legal documents for newly opened branches.
  • Taking part in the control of Capex, Opex, branch accounting,
  • Ensuring and coordinating communication with audit companies,
  • Control of all monthly and annual tax returns,
  • To ensure the preparation of financial statements.
Qualities We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or other related departments,
  • Experience in accounting/Tax/audit departments of Bigfour,
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit and similar areas,
  • Experience in working at logistic entities and having sufficient tax knowledge of logistics,
  • Proficient at working in Excel and with BigData,
  • Experience in SAP (especially in FI),
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English is plus,
  • Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality,
  • Ability to think strategically; go beyond the numbers and to think logically about underlying business drivers and issues,
  • Open to direct feedback culture, to constant learning amp; development, taking initiative and not avoiding responsibility, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment,
  • Ability to motivate direct and indirect reports,
  • Having sufficient knowledge of declaration of VAT/VAT2/Withholding tax/Corporate tax etc.
