Accounting Specialist

We are looking for Accounting Specialist to help us build and deploy forward-thinking solutions for the future of transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Performing all daily accounting transactions (e.g., accounts receivable/payable, e-invoicing, general ledger, and bank reconciliations),

• Preparing and issuing e-invoices for customers, verifying and processing invoices received from vendors,
• Handling correspondence with banks, SSI, the Tax Office, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), and other institutions,
• Coordinating all types of payments (banking transactions and other bank operations),
• Reserving all expense reports and payments,
• Daily cash collection and estimation,
• Monthly preparation of BA/BS forms, VAT returns, withholding tax returns, and stamp duty declarations,
• Preparation of quarterly corporate tax returns,
• Monthly preparation and tracking of VAT refund reports,
• Processing, monitoring, and invoicing of daily POS transactions.

Requirements

• Graduated from Business Administration, Economics or Accounting/Finance departments,
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting and Taxation,
• Previous experience with accounting software such as Logo, etc.,
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel and MS Office applications,
• Fluent in written and verbal English,
• Possess strong communication skills and negotiation abilities,
• Capable of working in multifunctional teams and confident in this regard,
• Strong in time management and multi-tasking abilities.
