Position
Based in Istanbul, KOMBA offers a wide range of high-quality data, research and engagement services in and around corporate governance, executive remuneration and ESG.
As Glass Lewis Europe Limited and KOMBA, we are hiring proxy a Research Associate with English, Arabic and preferably Turkish and French languages working remotely in Türkiye with the option of on-site attendance in KOMBA offices, in Istanbul, on a fixed term contract of approximately six months with the possibility of an extension to a permanent contract.

Requirements
Who is the ideal candidate?
Qualifications:
· A degree in Business, Law, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Language translation or other related field of studies.
Languages:
· Excellent English reading and writing skills
· Reading competency in Arabic, with Turkish and/or French as a desirable addition.
Competencies:
· Understanding of economics, financial services, accounting, compliance, corporate law; governance, finance journalism and public policy;
· Strong analytical skills;
· Task and time management skills;
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst paying attention to detail;
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team; personable;
· IT skills; proficiency in MS Office, Excel and online research tools; and
· Experience in qualitative research or corporate governance is considered an advantage.
