Our client, a leading and globally recognised FMCG organisation are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain responsible for end to end Supply Chain leading manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics and health and safety across plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain supply chain strategies, policies and practices that ensure the overall safety of employees, food safety of consumers and align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of 20+ professionals across production, quality, warehousing, procurement and maintenance.
• Full accountability for financial and operational performance.
• Influence and support the wider strategic supply chain and commercial business plans and initiatives in order to deliver the targeted financial and operational metrics for the total business unit.
• In accordance with the local workplace Environment Health amp; Safety regulations, ensure due diligence following all environment Hamp;S obligations under various local government acts are fulfilled at the Manufacturing site.
• Deliver all country Supply Chain key performance operational metrics and financial objectives and budgets.
• Support and enforce all Quality, Food Safety, Employee Safety and environment policies, crisis management and procedures in partnership with local, regional and global partners.
• Support value creation needs by applying agile Supply Chain solutions from the plant, wider manufacturing network and local partners.
• Responsible for development and execution of Plant capital projects and long-term plans to ensure plant operational effectiveness and maintenance of all building , equipment and facilities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain network.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and optimize sourcing strategies to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain and manufacturing operations within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain principles, and logistics operations.
• 10+ years of leading and directing multi-plant / sites and end to end supply chains previously within the FMCG sector.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English and Turkish is required.
