Our client is a global logistics company. The headquarter is located in Kazakhstan and we are looking for an experienced CEO for their Branch in Turkiye.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing long-term and short-term strategies
  • Aligning the Company's goals with the objectives of the Group
  • Developingbudgetingprocess andcorporatereporting
  • Responsiblefor financialplanningandexecutingfor the Company's profitability and sustainability
  • Organization of transportation of own freight base across the territory
  • Ensuringtheefficiencyoflogisticalprocesses,thesafetyandtimelinessofcargodelivery
  • Developing andmaintaining relationships withsuppliers,carriers, andotherserviceprovidersto ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Managingcontractsandserviceagreementswithsuppliersandlogistics partners
  • Ensuringthatlogisticsoperationscomplywithrelevantlawsandregulations
  • lmplementingqualitycontrolmeasuresto maintain service quality and safety
  • ldentifying and mitigating potential risks in logistics operations, such as delays, disruptions, and security issues
  • Developing contingency plans for various scenarios
  • Exploring market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes
  • Driving sales and ensuring sales plan execution for 3 rd parties
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery timelines and service quality standards
  • Addressing customer concerns and inquiries related to logistics operations
  • Supervising a team of professionals, including hiring, development, performance assessment, driving decision
  • Providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations for team members
  • Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders for a smooth logistics service
  • Study potential logistics partnerships with clients and suppliers and monitor the results of such collaborations
  • lmplementing and optimizing logistics software and systems
  • Leveragingtechnologyforreal-timetracking,dataanalysis,andreporting
  • Tracking and evaluation of the Department's performance against its strategic and operations objectives
  • Reporting on the key performance indicators and other business parameters
  • Adheringto legalandethical standards,establishing clear policiesandpractices,andmaking decisions that align with the Group's mission, goals and values.
  • Ensuring that the company operates in a manner that is accountable and transparent to its stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, customers, and the broader community

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in logistics/transportation area, 5+ years in first leadership roles in international companies
  • Ownership,proactivity,generationthenewideas,andongoingimprovement
  • Positiveand open mindset, effective communication skills
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
