Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our growing team as a Senior Software Test Engineering Manager / Software Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements
· Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing software testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
· Define and implement the overall testing strategy for assigned projects, aligning with SDLC or Agile methodologies.
· Testing infrastructure (Underlying systems and structures)
· Lead, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of functionality, performance, and security.
· Select, implement, and maintain automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework) to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
· Design and execute manual testing plans where automation is not feasible.
· Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely identification and resolution of defects.
· Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend optimizations to the testing process.
· Manage testing resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of budget and personnel.
· Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments (development, product, management) to ensure alignment and transparency.
· Contribute to the development and documentation of testing standards and procedures.
· Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to software quality.
Technical Skills
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing large-scale software projects.
· Strong understanding of Linux and console operations.
· Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
· Experience with REST API and RESTful API and understanding with tools and scripting.
· Hands-on experience with web and client-side automation testing tools.
· Good at reporting skills to translate complex testing data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Understanding A/B Testing.
· Familiarity with DevOps principles, cloud environments, Kubernetes, and Docker is a big plus.
· Scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation tasks is a big plus.
· Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is a plus.
· Mobile application development or testing experience is a plus
· Big-data knowledge is a plus
