.NET Developer

Under the supervision of the Director / Project Manager, the .Net Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of .NET framework and associated technologies.
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, WPF/ WCF/ MVC, IIS, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Visual Studio and related IDE.
• Knowledge of relational database systems and MS SQL databases.
• Design, code and test new Windows and Web Software applications
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Evaluate system performance. Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Familiarity with accessibility, usability.
• Create technical specifications, test plans and report application specifics
• Be well informed of technology trends
• Consult with clients
