What are my responsibilities?
- Software design and development activities for industrial remote communication projects
- Software design, implementation, unit tests, module tests, debugging and release tasks in a multi-site, international software development environment
- Producing high quality project deliverables
- Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines
Job Specification
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Software development activities for Industrial Remote Communication
- Software design and documentation
- Backend/Frontend development, unit testing and integration
- Participating in code-review process
- Taking part in the complete product life-cycle
- Producing high quality project deliverables
- Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines
- BSc. or MSc. in computer science or related areas
- Proven 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge in Linux development environment
- Strong knowledge in MVC, OOP, OOA and OOD is a must (Experience with functional programming is highly appreciated)
- Experience with Python programming language, Django Framework is appreciated
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript is appreciated
- Experience with jQuery and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, React) is appreciated
- Experience with the following items is appreciated PostgreSQL, Apache ,Linux networking (firewall,routing etc.)
- Debian/Ubuntu systems; including package management and debootstrap
- Knowledge in software life cycle and agile methodologies is appreciated
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Very good command of English
- Open minded and highly collaborative
