Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in building our new C2B2B used car marketplace (VavaCars) that leverages our extensive network of petrol stations in Turkey and worldwide respected brand of our parent company, Vitol.

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, this is a key role in building and managing HR processes in a fast paced environment.

You will work best when things move fast. You will enjoy working with smart, creative and energetic people, working as part of a highly ambitious start-up team your role will be hands-on with real responsibility and impact from day one


  • To ensure to apply and champion VavaCars Leadership Principles within all company, especially in recruitment processes
  • Developing talent acquisition strategies to attract the best talent to the company,
  • Understanding VavaCars recruitment strategies and ensuring standardization of implementation across all teams
  • Continuously improving recruitment process by focusing on candidate experience
  • Managing recruitment consultancy firms; evaluating performance of consultancy firms
  • Implementing employee experience journeys; listening employees through surveys, focus groups, 1-1 interviews and generate insights; using these insights in designing actions to improve employee experience; implementing and monitoring these actions,
  • Executing employee engagement survey process
  • Communicating with candidates, having interviews, making reference checks and legal documentation follow ups
  • Helping to convert HR recruitment strategy into an operating plan with tightly defined hiring deadlines
  • Evaluating the performance of recruitment processes via reporting to HR team and work together if there are any growth areas.
  • To evaluate staffing needs with HR Team and to help to recruit staff accordingly using our hiring tool, Workable
  • Collaborating extensively with the cross-functional teams to ensure to upgrade end to end recruitment process
  • Taking role in all HR related projects besides talent acquisition when needed

  • At least 5 years of talent acqusition and career planning specific experience working in a tech centric / fast moving / high growth brand and business
  • Strong communication skills to discuss goals, challenges, and progress.
  • Excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives effectively and prioritize work are essential.
  • Highly capable of meeting strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Have the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Highly motivated, goal / detail oriented, can-do attitude
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
