Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a commercially savvy Corporate Sales Manager to play a lead role in scaling VavaCars in Turkey. We are in vibrant scale-up mode and so you will have the opportunity to strongly contribute and be a key player. You will work best when things move fast. VavaCars is setting out to revolutionize the secondhand automotive industry in emerging markets, by creating the world’s most trusted car transaction platform. Headquartered out of London, with initial locations in Turkey and Pakistan, we aim to provide ease, transparency, simplicity, and trust to buyers and sellers of used cars, which includes individuals, corporates, franchise and independent used car dealers.


Role Mission

In this position you will be responsible for our B2B sales funnel by delivering the best service in the market to the current dealer network. You will be working on how to retain current dealer network and execute expansion plans. Building de-fleet purchasing / sourcing funnel is another target that you will be focused on:

  • You will design, develop and execute B2B sales strategies and tactics to meet and exceed our sales targets through a funnel-based approach consisting of people, programmatic CRM and e-commerce; we don't trade cars off-line.
  • You will actively develop new and maintain existing relationships with our customers; auto galleries, franchise dealerships, fleet companies.
  • You will build and maintain tailor made programs for auto dealers, fleet companies and non-auto SMEs to provide them hassle-free amp; profitable used car sales opportunities.
  • You will establish best in class key account management strategies and tactics designed to maximize customer LTV across the top and the bottom line, ensure retention and establish the brand as the dealer’s de-facto preferred choice.
  • You will partner extensively with Marketing to ensure new dealer registration and activation at the required rates.
  • You will monitor key actors within the auto industry; OEMs, industry bodies and associations, car rental firms, 3rd party auction houses to stay on top of industry trends.
  • You will embody the highest levels of personal and professional integrity capable of earning trust and developing high quality relationships everywhere.
  • You will be as comfortable in excel as ppt and able to bring market observations and insights back into the company and be the voice of the customer internally; you will be data driven and analytical in your approach to everything.
  • You will be a consummate leader, manager and coach, able to hire and develop the very best sales team from inside and outside of the auto industry.
  • You will partner with colleagues and peers across the company both nationally and internationally and pay no attention to hierarchy or job titles to ensure trust and support through product / tech / pricing / marketing / operations / retail.
  • You will have experience of operating in highly entrepreneurial, yet data driven and analytical environments; we value your opinions but facts gt; opinions.
  • You will have experience of international working cultures, styles and customs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive market and extensive knowledge of the auto industry dynamics in Turkey
  • Experience in building programmatic approach to manage customer network.
  • Best in class track record of meeting and exceeding performance metrics and targets consistently
  • Experience of creating repeatable, predictable, programmable and scalable processes and programs grounded in structure and detail.
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills in English and Turkish, written and verbal, able to successfully liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organized amp; structured to be able to plan the working day and reprioritize as needed.
  • Able to communicate complex messages clearly, concisely and influentially to a variety of audiences and formats - leverages data and visualizes clearly.
  • A good business mindset and ability to understand the implication of recommendations and recognize the key drivers of profitability.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to successfully work in a dynamic, fast-paced high growth environment where agility is key.
