Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a young, dynamic and customer-focused Marketing and Business Development Specialist to play a key role in supporting new product/services and customer acquisition partnerships in online used car marketplace (VavaCars) that leverages our extensive network of petrol stations and worldwide respected brand of our parent company, Vitol.

This role directly reports to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

This is a hands-on role where you will be working across multiple departments of VavaCars. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and an operational process approach.

You will:

  • Help to develop overall business development and partnerships strategy designed to support company strategy
  • Convert the strategy into a clearly defined operating plan working in concert with a cross-functional team to ensure a harmonized approach
  • Support implementing marketing strategy, aligned with brand and business goals driving sales, brand, and market share
  • Support converting the brand strategy into a clearly defined operating plan working in concert with a cross functional team to ensure a harmonized approach
  • Help establish and grow the brand within the trade and the ecosystem of auto-dealers, across both sides of our marketplace
  • Identify potential partners and develop partnerships for new customer acquisition channels
  • Develop new products amp; services required by other functions through third-party solutions
  • Set commercial terms with partners, lead contracting phase, orchestrate technical integration
  • Support smooth handover of new launched products amp; services and partnerships to relevant departments
  • Assist with the creative delivery of campaigns, promotions and advertising material.
  • Continuous market observation and competitor analysis within area of responsibility
  • Contribute to ad hoc project work as determined by our strategic marketing plan, as well as all sponsorships, activations and leverage activities.
  • To make regular PC and CC visits to make contribution in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth of the company
  • Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances with external partners focused on addressing key business issues, objectives, and processes.

Functional Experience:

  • BS/MS degree
  • Working experience in high growth, fast moving environments
  • Proven experience in business development and marketing 3 years minimum
  • In-depth experience in digital ecosystem
  • Preferably experienced in payment systems and financial products.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent project management skills coupled with a high attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Examine trends and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
