You will make a vital contribution to improving Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) performance by driving behavioral change, maintaining an exemplary safety culture in the Electrification, based in Dilovasi-Kocaeli. Reporting to the Turkey Electrification Group Service Manager,you will support the business by applying your in-depth OHS knowledge to provide solutions and advice to address a variety of challenges.
Your responsibilities
Contribute to improving Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) performance within assigned geography. Support the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of Group-wide performance improvement programs and/or Group Audit Program,
Delivers and deploys OHS training, audit and Group-wide performance improvement programs to the Divisions and Local Business Units,
Contributes to assessing emerging OHS trends and legislation and communicates relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography. Supports constituent countries to operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations,
Delivers audit (as per Group Audit Program) and support follow up of improvement actions in the Local Business Units,
Contributes to driving behavioral change and continuous improvement though delivery of training and competence initiatives and expert support to the Local Business Units in line with yearly HSE, Plan agreed with the Business Units. Supports the sharing of best practice. Coordinates reporting on OHS performance and support delivery of Group audit program,
Cooperates across functions and with business partners to raise awareness of OHS standards and initiatives and drive performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility for the CoE,
Contributes to and/or plans and executes Occupational Health and Safety performance and related projects. Develops and reports on project objectives. Manages project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.
Job Specification
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments,
Min 2 years of experience in OHS,
C Level OHS certification is must,
Solid experience in electrical industries/services is highly preferable,
Upper-intermediate English skills,
Turkish knowledge is a must,
Detailed, self-disciplined and solution-oriented profile with strong process management skills,
Strong interpersonal skills,
No obstacle for traveling.
