For Data Engineer Applicants :
Our Search Technologies Research Team focuses on rapid development and deployment of state-of-the-art information retrieval systems to address complex information needs. As a Data Engineer, you will be taking on a key role in our team, owning the core data engineering in our product pipeline and collaborating with the whole team to provide solutions on real-world problems. Key to success will be the ability to deliver results, a passion for perfection and a willingness to keep learning and improving oneself. In the project, your key responsibilities will be;
- Write ETL to consolidate and relate gigabytes of data from disparate sources
- Utilizing code (Python, R, Scala, etc.) for analyzing data and building statistical models to provide insights, metrics and explain variance
- Building knowledge graphs and services for supporting information retrieval process
- Implementing best practice data quality assurance mechanisms
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience with ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture with gigabytes of data
- 3+ years of coding experience in at least one modern programming language (R, Python, Ruby, Scala, Java, Spark etc.)
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in several of the following areas: machine learning, statistics, NLP, deep learning, recommendation systems, information retrieval
- Having basic NLP skills (word embeddings, language models) to intermediate between end user and data
- Certain grasp of search-related business scenarios and core technologies
- Passion for sharing what you've learnt and confidence to ask others for help
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
For Data Scientist Applicants :
Responsibilities:
• Take charge of the local operation effect of search products and regional service KPIs such as the search traffic, user activity, and user search satisfaction.
• Develop the local operation indicator system, monitor the local operation indicators of search products, analyze users' use of search products, and identify experience problems, manage the closure of bad cases and bad cases, and propose optimization solutions.
• Develop web page evaluation standards that comply with local standards and requirements based on local user habits and requirements. Formulates evaluation plans and tasks and monitors the execution.
• Formulates local cloud control policies, including results, languages, service rollout, and control policies, and takes responsibility for the local search operation effect.
• Plans and executes search engine activities and promotes the local promotion of search products.
• Be responsible for the local implementation of product features, including friendly test, AB test, preliminary effect evaluation, and launch strategy.
• Promote the commercialization of search products in the local area, develop local commercialization strategies, build commercialization teams; and specify product requirements and roadmap requirements.

Professional knowledge requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, able to cope with global business trips.
- Excellent data analysis capabilities, able to have a keen insight into search user requirements, controls operation policies.
- Internet product operation experience is preferred.
- At least one programming language
- At least one reporting tool Power BI, Qlickview or Tableu.
- SQL is plus, Relational Database System Theory is plus.
- Statistics, Machine learning is plus
