Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a detail oritented HR amp; Administrative Affairs Manager to play a lead role in scaling VavaCars in Turkey. VavaCars is setting out to revolutionize the secondhand automotive industry in emerging markets, by creating the world’s most trusted car transaction platform. Headquartered out of London, with initial locations in Turkey and Pakistan, we aim to provide ease, transparency, simplicity, and trust to buyers and sellers of used cars, which includes individuals, corporates, franchised and independent used car dealers.

Requirements

  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and and on-boarding guides
  • Liaise with external partners, like payroll providers, insurance vendors and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues including employee benefits program
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Ensure all HR processes and policies remain fully compliant with all regulatory and statutory legislation
  • Manage all employee issues relating to labor law and and social security legislation
  • Design and execute all employee SOPs in accordance with in-house Senior Counsel including terminations and exit process
  • Design and execute all employee SOPs in relation to use of company assets including company cars, technology, mobile phone usage
  • Monitor usage of company assets by employees and ensure adherence with company SOPs, in particular company car policy
  • Design and execute all employee SOPs in relation to travel and accommodation, monitoring adherence to company SOPs
  • Participate in wider HR projects and contribute to design and delivery of overall HR roadmap
  • Be a role model of our culture and maintain excellent relations with internal audience and key stakeholders


Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of HR amp; Administrative Affairs experience (2 years of experience in manager position)
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, or relevant role
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and all associated regulation
