A unique opportunity has arisen for an energetic?Talent Acquisition Lead?to play a lead role in building up a new online used car marketplace in Pakistan. VavaCars is setting out to revolutionize the way cars are traded, by creating the world's most trusted car transaction platform. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a core role in our HR team. We are in vibrant start-up mode and so you will have the opportunity to strongly contribute and be a key player in our organization. As this is a highly impactful roles in our Pakistan office you will work best when things move fast. What you will be doing
- To champion VavaCars Leadership Principles within the company, especially in recruitment processes
- Developing talent acquisition strategies to attract the best talent to the company
- Understanding VavaCars recruitment strategies and ensuring standardization of implementation across all teams
- Continuously improving recruitment process by focusing on candidate experience
- Managing recruitment consultancy firms; evaluating performance of consultancy firms
- Implementing employee experience journeys; listening to employees through surveys, focus groups, 1-1 interviews to generate insights; using these insights in designing actions to improve employee experience; implementing and monitoring these actions
- Executing employee engagement survey process
- Communicating with candidates, having interviews, making reference checks and legal documentation follow ups
- Helping to convert HR recruitment strategy into an operating plan with tightly defined hiring deadlines
- Evaluating the performance of recruitment processes via reporting to HR team and work together if there are any growth areas
- To evaluate staffing needs with HR Team and to help to recruit staff accordingly using our hiring tool, Workable
- Collaborating extensively with the cross-functional teams to ensure end to end recruitment process is maintanied
- Taking role in all HR related projects besides talent acquisition when needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of talent acqusition and career planning specific experience working in a tech centric / fast moving / high growth brand and business
- Strong communication skills to discuss goals, challenges, and progress.
- Excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives effectively and prioritize work are essential.
- Highly capable of meeting strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Have the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Highly motivated, goal / detail oriented, can-do attitude
- Fluent in written and verbal English
