We are looking for an experienced Commercial leader to drive our growth by actively managing our online sales platforms. A street smart, savvy leader with a builder mindset and bags of hustle. The ideal candidate will be a hands on operator who enjoys the thrill of getting things done. Always capable of thinking big and acting small. The mission statement of this role is to ensure we achieve exponential unit, GMV and GM% growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to the company goals and objectives
- Manage and optimise our B2B and B2C e-commerce teams and platforms
- Hire and develop the best team of e-commerce managers, merchandisers, planners and analysts
- Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, product, tech, retail, customer service)
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics, invent new metrics
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development
- Be a valued member of global leadership team
Requirements
- Proven digital sales leader with experience of B2C, B2B experience desirable
- Strong bias for action and results delivery, hands-on operator, problem solver
- Proven experience of operating in highly data driven environments
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Experience of international working cultures, styles and customs
- BSc/BA in business administration, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus or relevant commercial experience
