What You’ll Do:

  • Overall responsibility for all Supply Chain Planning and Logistics activities across the GetirWater business
  • Create and implement best practice Supply Chain strategy, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
  • Evaluate the challenges faced by the organisation and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities
  • Review opportunities to improve operational and financial performance and to ensure minimal operational disruption and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key internal and external 3PL stakeholders to ensure positive and productive team environments.
  • Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles
  • Communicate any concerns and recommend solutions without compromising quality or service and aim for service excellence
  • Ensure performance of suppliers, 3PL logistics partners and make improvements where possible
  • Ensure on time, high quality delivery to all warehouses and distributors

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Appropriate qualification in logistics, supply chain management, transport management
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
  • Fluency in English both writing and speaking
  • Advanced use of MS Office Programs (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proactive and initiative taker
  • Confidence in communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects of self and others and to deliver against objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail mindset
  • An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures
