Job Description
We are looking for an Android Developer to join our Development Team at Norma to help us build an efficient, simple and inclusive banking and financial management experience on a single platform tailored for Freelancers, Sole-traders and micro-businesses.

What you'll do here:
As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Norma application aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other developers and product managers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Please also be prepared for the following actions:
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- At least 3 years of mobile development and hands-on programming experience in Kotlin
- Working knowledge of Android development best practices and design principles
- Experience working with Remote Data via REST and JSON
- Strong ability and knowledge in Android Development tools and methods including: Gradle, Android Studio, UI Layout, Intents, Services, Fragment usage, and lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Android Architecture Components, Firebase, Gradle, Dagger, GSON, Google Play Services.
- Knowledge of Kotlin Multi Platform is a big plus
