WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. The company is seeking to bolster its support staff by hiring employees in Turkey.

About the Job:

This is a remote position. Working hours will be 4:00pm until 2:00am Istanbul time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English. Resumes provided in Turkish will not be reviewed.

The Human Resources Administrator will assist the Human Resources department in maintaining thorough and accurate digital records for all employees, serve as the main point of contact for WBL’s Turkey-based workforce, work on special projects as assigned, and provide administrative support to the HR Generalist. .

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain contractor and employment records related to events such as hiring, employment termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software (currently, ADP).
  • Schedule new hire orientations, training sessions and other HR related meetings.
  • Assist with payroll by ensuring all employee timecards are approved and consultant invoices are completed properly and timely.
  • Respond to inquiries from Turkish workforce, escalating to HR Generalist as needed.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Human Resources Administrator, Assistant or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of employment and labor legislation in Turkey preferred
  • Excellent English (both written and verbal)
  • Willing to work Eastern Time zone hours (4pm 2am Istanbul time)
  • Strong ability to work independently and strong organization skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint)
  • Must own a computer (desktop/laptop, PC or Mac is acceptable)

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits:

• CONTRACT POSITION 6 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO EXTENSIONS

• ~$750 $900 USD (DOE) NET compensation per month, depending on experience
