WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. The company is seeking to bolster its staff with qualified talent in Turkey. This position will be a remote role based in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir or select other cities. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time (4:00pm-1:00am or 5:00pm-2:00am Istanbul time), Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. About the Job:
The Helpdesk Support Associate will work as part of a team to provide end-user support and basic training on IT applications and devices. Individuals will troubleshoot, research, resolve and document technology issues and problems reported by staff. Proficiency in supporting windows desktop applications (O365, Adobe, etc.) and hardware is an important function for this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. This role reports to the Helpdesk Team Leader.
Essential functions and responsibilities include:
- Experience working and supporting clients in a remote environment.
- The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must manage time effectively and be motivated, reliable, and a self-starter.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Active Directory environment.
- Proficient in the management of Azure AVD and O/M365.
- Proficient with PowerShell.
- Proficient with the Zendesk Ticket system.
- Troubleshooting and resolving computer-related technical issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of 2 or more years of work experience in a business environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and have excellent written and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and good attention to detail in all aspects of administrative support.
- Strong technical background.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and to manage multiple issues and demands.
- Must be dependable by meeting deadlines, working independently, being accountable for work, and having good attendance record management.
- A strong sense of urgency and a desire to succeed.
Benefits
Compensation $1600 - $1800 per month depending on experience
