Volt Lines is a technology powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient and dynamic, we create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. Companies and other institutions can benefit from the Volt Lines transportation network for the daily commute needs of their staff.

About the Role

We are looking for front-end developers, to help us build and deploy forward-thinking solutions for the future of transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform development tasks, including unit tests considering scalability, security, and maintainability
• Collaborate effectively with varied stakeholders to help determine the requirements for several audience-specific initiatives
• Conduct code reviews and design reviews with the team
• Research new technologies and work through system issues and bugs list
• Mentor and support your fellow teammates

Requirements

• 3+ years experience on Front-end development
• Proficient in HTML and CSS with knowledge of web standards, advanced layouts, accessibility, and responsive design
• Demonstrated experience with VueJS, React, or other modern frameworks
• At least a year of UI development experience in crafting pixel-perfect application
• Comfortable at the command line and with utilizing Git (Version Control) commands
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
